Yes !  We listened and are pleased to announce the new date for the 8th Annual Historic Downtown Abbotsford Car Show…………….
SATURDAY, August 24th, 2013 

PLUS    a new venue, more cars…the show is moving to heart of Downtown Abbotsford,
Montrose    from George Ferguson to South Fraser Way.
Essendene    from West Railway to Pauline.

The 8th Annual Historic Downtown Abbotsford Car Show will have more parking for the “classic cars” and “hot rods” ,plus a new location for the ‘free stage show” at the intersection of Montrose & Essendene right in the centre of Historic Downtown Abbotsford. Folks are invited to visit many of the unique and trendy stores, and restaurants, located through-out downtown. Great food and hospitality just steps away from the cars on display …..A Great Family Outing
On stage and back by popular demand,” Blues Bros Too” plus headlining the stage again this year                                       “ The Man In Black”, “David James” “Almost Johnny Cash” and the Big River Band, Todd Sacerty, Colin Stevenson, and Duncan Symonds.

Welcome back “Blues Bros Too”, enjoy signature songs, moves, and routines that will have you dancing in the street. These song and dance tribute stars, with their high energy and antics will not only be performing on stage, but through-out the streets of Downtown Abbotsford. They come fully equipped to entertain with their “Lady of Blessed Acceleration” , “The Blues Mobil Too”, with enough sound equipment to host a small concert, from the cop motor (440) cop tires, cop radio (Motorola),                cop- speakers, cop computer(scmods) and cop lites, fully equipped with state of the art equipment and it’s all self-powered. As they say”it ain’t 100% perfect but its got stuff even the original didn’t have”

David James ‘“Almost Johnny Cash” with the Big River Band, enjoy performing for sold-out audiences through-out Canada and parts of the US., soon to be venturing overseas.  Big River Band with David James has one main purpose, to perform and present the recordings of Johnny Cash, in the style and sound of the “Man In Black” himself. When you hear that familiar mighty voice .legendary deep dark tones, close your eyes, dare to compare. David James is the greatest Johnny Cash tribute star..  The Man In Black Is Back, on stage Saturday, August 24th.

Opening our stage show this year, no stranger to the folks in the Fraser Valley nor the Lower Mainland..Randy Ketting-Oliver.  One of his first appearances was on stage at the PNE at 11 years old. In the early days played and travelled, living out of a suitcase with a number of bands. Played for number of years on CBC Radio and also played with the Irish Rovers.  His band “The Mainlanders” was once the youngest group/band to play the night club circuit though-out BC. Along with a full-time career as Music Director for a church in Yarrow, you can enjoy his music during the week at Chances
Gaming Place in Abbotsford. You will not want to miss this opening show

Our popular “Poker-Walk” once again will be open to all …an opportunity to visit and say “hello” to the merchants /owners of the unique stores in Historic Downtown Abbotsford
